SCIA Engineer 2013 comes as a major release with a set of important improvements and added (r)evolutionary features.
A new development, available for the first time in SCIA Engineer 2013, is the Engineering Report feature, which allow users to prepare project documentation in a whole new way.
Another new feature is an open software for every-day engineering design work that enables users to write their own design formulas and, if required, link them to SCIA Engineer.

The SCIA Engineer project can now be directly saved to a cloud storage via function File > Publish to cloud.

The tree menu for results of dynamic calculation has been rearranged and it newly offers also the accelerations. Default units for translational accelerations have been changed to m/sec2. New units have been introduced for rotational accelerations with rad/sec2 being the default setting.
