Revit link in version 18
We are empowering our Revit link with capabilities delivering smooth workflow in the BIM environment. The most significant enhancement of our link is export of user defined reinforcement from SCIA Engineer into Revit. It brings opportunity to the user for detailing of reinforcement within Revit environment and deliver final drawings.
We have also improved mapping experience so that user can easily find mapping option in the ribbon menu so that user can easily create mapping of materials and cross-section. New version of link is capable to export load panels & diaphragms so that user can used this entities in his model in SCIA Engineer and export them into Revit and produce final drawing or communicate results of design.
Other nice enhancement of current solution is an option to update just shape or dimensions of cross-section or thickness of slab during export from SCIA into Revit and ignore any geometric changes of positions of related members.
Last but not least enhancement which we did will make happy all composite designers. We add support of composite design data into our link. Composite designer can easily model structure in Revit then export it to SCIA Engineer where we perform design and check. He can export designed number of studs, camber and other design info back to Revit
